Come Get Creative

Our Art Studio is OPEN at the Wonder Room during OPEN PLAY times! Come explore together! Participate in art appreciation, try out some art processes, use of art tools and materials, and nurture creativity and imaginative play. Table space and lots of recyclables are available to work with in the art studio. Each visit may spark:

  • A sense of creativity that allows children to have an outlet to express themselves

  • Joy for art as they play and create with the materials and tools

  • Appreciation for the art world as they develop an understanding of its importance in our world

  • Connection with oneself and others as they express their ideas and emotions through their work

Your Child’s Art Work

Each experience with art helps children:

  • Build confidence about who they are in the world as artists

  • See their creativity as a source of pride

  • Allows them to develop a variety of motor and social skills

  • Imagine how their artwork inspires others to exercise creativity

  • Shape their interest for different types of art through play

Elementary Enrichment, UPK, Preschools, Child Care Centers, Libraries, Homeschool Groups and Others - Let us craft a Art Enrichment Series

Whether in The Wonder Room art studio or at Your Program Location, the children will be invited to try a variety of artistic materials and techniques. The experience will be facilitated by a Wonder Room educator.

WE WILL COME TO YOUR LOCATION!

Description: Creative Art Program: Join us as we explore creating art and interesting artistic techniques!  Inspiration from artwork and children's picture books will be our springboard to a variety of "try-its" that allow young artists to play with their own ideas and art concepts in an authentic way. Crafting in community offers opportunities to share ideas and reflect on the work of others. New materials and projects each week. We can't wait to see what you create!
