It’s Wonder Time
Wonder Time is a welcoming community playgroup for our youngest visitors and their grown-ups. During each 1 1/2 hour long session your child will connect with the Wonder Room teachers and other children within their age group. This is a weekly program where each week you and your child will gather to explore:
A different sensory table set up each week based on a theme
Playing with various toys, items and books in a new surrounding
Socializing with other children through parallel play
Socializing & Sensory Bins
Children are naturally curious and inquisitive, especially when they are in surroundings that stimulate their senses. During Wonder Time, we can nurture that sense of wonder and provide a social experience inside and outside. Sensory exploration and experimentation help children to learn about the world around them and the people in it. Exposing your children to this environment will help:
Develop their senses to engage them and build their curiosity
Stimulate their thinking about items, concepts, and imaginative play
Provide your child an outlet to learn with other children
Give grown-ups a bonding experience with their child that they can look forward to
Register for Wonder Time
Upon registration, you will receive email confirmation from the Wonder Room teachers who are facilitating the Wonder Time experience. You will be given a schedule along with upcoming themes we plan to focus on weekly. Your children will be invited to bring special personal items from home to encourage a home/school connection. Register at least one week prior to the first class. We hope you join our welcoming family-oriented community!
This playgroup for children age 2, 3, and 4 with their accompanying adults will meet throughout the year.
Younger siblings are welcome. Children (siblings) under 18 mos. old are FREE, children over 18 mos. old need to be registered for a spot in the class.
Wednesdays - 9:30am - 11am
2024 —2025 Sessions
Session ONE - September - October - 8 classes - $85 per child KINDLY REGISTER BY SEPTEMBER 5th.
Session TWO - November - December - 6 classes - $65 per child REGISTER BY OCTOBER 30th.
Session THREE - January - February - 7 weeks - $75 per child REGISTER BY DECEMBER 29th.
Session FOUR - March - April - 8 weeks - $85 per child REGISTER BY FEBRUARY 26th.
Session FIVE - May - June - 6 weeks (one week will be field trip to a local farm) - $65 per child REGISTER BY APRIL 30th.
